iMafia III is released!

We hope you got the chance to check out iMafia III, and the following is a description of the major feature additions and changes:

1. The zoomable 3-D map. Swipe your finger across the map to navigate. Use two fingers to pinch to zoom in or out. Note that the list portrait view is still available for those who prefer it. You can also lock your orientation preference on the settings page (the gear button at the upper left corner).

2. Daily unlock boxes. There is a new interactive feature with the map based around Frankie Four-Fingers. Everyday there are two boxes you can collect, one on entering Frankie's building (labeled as "Daily Unlock") and one that is out on the streets of the city landscape view. When you have obtained enough boxes for Frankie, he'll reward you with a prize box which has a chance of getting a variety of items & prizes. The prize box increases in level each time you get one, and each level increase represents a better chance to getting better items.

3. Content updates. We've included brand new items, quests, and properties at higher levels. We have also made the lower level item drops slightly easier to obtain.

4. In-game music. We have fantastic in-game music provided by Rob Hudson. It can be enabled/disabled in the settings page (the gear button at the upper left corner).

5. Integrated PlayMesh center. Includes access to forums, inbox messaging with your friends, and list of new friends all in the PlayMesh building!

6. Building grouping. We have merged the hospital and bank into one "Services" building, and added the "Daily Unlock" building.

We are looking into crashing issues that some of you have been facing and recommend in the meantime that you restart your device after you have downloaded the application as it has helped some people fix the issue.

Thanks for all your support. If you enjoyed this update, please tell all of your friends about it and give us some good reviews on the App Store!

Character Cleanup UPDATE

There have been some confusion about the character cleanup announcement that we wish to clear up. We will only be clearing out characters that have not yet reached level 1. If you have ever been active on your character, they will most likely be untouched.

Character Cleanup

We will soon be doing some maintenance to remove characters that people are no longer playing. To make sure your character isn't deleted, please be sure to log onto that character and do at least one quest. For example, if you only play iMafia and all your other characters are untouched, they will be deleted. Any special items redeemed or PlayMesh Points spent on that character are forfeit upon deletion.

PlayMesh Points

There's a known issue with claiming PlayMesh Points from July 14 12:00PM until July 16 1:00PM. All applications which were opened during this period without redeeming points have been credited with the appropriate amount of points. Sorry for any inconveniences this has caused. Those of you who are still having trouble claiming their points please attempt to uninstall the applications from your device and re-upload them to your device with internet access. If you continue to experience difficulties, please email support@playmesh.com with your account name and details regarding the issue. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!

Accidental Bans

We recently came across a small bug that resulted in the accidental ban of a number of our players. We have resolved the issue and given all affected players 5 PlayMesh Points for compensation. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.
